The Palakkad District Salafi Educational Association, established in 1980, has a visionary goal of nurturing, nourishing, and bringing it into reality. Mr. Uneenkutty Moulavi is the General Secretary of the trust. Under this trust, institutions such as The Elegant Arts and Science College, The Elegant Public School, Karuna Medical College, Grace College of Pharmacy, Mujahideen Arabic College, KKMHS Vandithavalam, and Puliyaparambu HSS have flourished, providing quality education to countless students.

Our association put the efforts in and out to bring about social change; we saw the opportunities where others saw challenges in building the educational culture of Palakkad. Our journey as a family, including all the staff—teaching and non-teaching, students and their families, society, and all the well-wishers—has been supported by the Palakkad District Salafi Educational Association, whose dedication to educational excellence has been instrumental in shaping our progress. The Elegant College was established in 2015 and is affiliated to the University of Calicut.
