The Elegant Arts and Science College successfully conducted a one-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on May 29, 2025. The theme of the program was “Beyond the Buzz: Practical AI for Everyday Teaching,” aimed at equipping faculty members with practical knowledge of AI integration in teaching.
The program was inaugurated by PP Uneenkutty Moulavi, Manager of The Elegant Arts and Science College. Dr. Abrar K J, Principal of the college, delivered the presidential address, setting the tone for the event.
Shafeek K R, Academic Coordinator, led the introduction session, facilitating a warm and interactive introduction among the participants.
The technical session was expertly handled by Abdul Latheef O M, AI Trainer and Director of Plus Academy. His insightful presentation provided participants with a deeper understanding of practical AI applications in everyday teaching.
Fifty-nine faculty members from various institutions participated in the program, showcasing the interest and need for AI integration in teaching. College IQAC Coordinator Janufiya N extended a warm welcome to all participants, while Staff Coordinator M Muhammed Iqbal expressed gratitude with a vote of thanks.
The Principal, Dr. Abrar K J, distributed participation certificates to the faculty members, acknowledging their active participation and engagement in the FDP.
The program was a resounding success, providing valuable insights and knowledge to the participating faculty members.
